Hi have you even wished to login using the 2 Yahoo ID’s you have at the same time and chat with a Single person using both your ID’ s. This is a cheap old trick without installing any softwares, login one ID using Yahoo Messenger and login the other ID by going to http://chat.yahoo.com in your webbrowser. It works, both your ID’s would be online and you can use both.
Want to become more adventurus….how about 3,4,5…id’s at the same time…..its possible there are several Third Party Messengers out there which would allow you to use your Yahoo ID and login, Trillian, Indiatimes Messenger are a few to name some. You can download and Install many such messengers from www.download.com and use one Yahoo ID in one messenger…so you can have n number of ID’s online where n is the number of messengers you install on your system.
I have used Trillian a lot and it has a special feature…it can login to Yahoo, MSN, ICQ Networks…not only that you can login to Multiple Yahoo Accounts from a single messenger…4 Yahoo Accounts, 2 MSN Accounts and 2 ICQ…no issues….but the only issue i found with Trillian Freeware version was when you login 2 Yahoo accounts it would automatically sent Add Friend invites to all the people in the Other Yahoo Account. So Account 1 would send invites to all ID’s in Account 2 and Account 2 sends invites to all ID’s in Account1. So if you are trying to play with someone using 2 ID’s be careful. I noticed this when i used it some 3 years back, and i think by now trillian might have fixed this issue….if you have any further clarifications you can always write me at sunilsaripalli@gmail.com

You can install any packet sniffer software to capture all the packets sent on your network. You need to then filter the packets based on port number, say Yahoo Messager uses port 5050 (for example), then you need to decode all the packets sent on port 5050.
This way you would get all the messenger packets sent on your network. Once decoded you would be able to find the persons friend list and all messages he sends and receives.
However this works with messengers that wont encrypt data, for example MSN Messenger encyrpts the messages so the above wont be of any help.
If you need any further clarificaiton please get back to me.
